GRADUATE-LEVEL INTERNS

Our interns offer a discounted self-pay rate of $30 per session and a limited number of pro bono appointments for clients who do not have insurance or prefer not to utilize it.

JahJett-Lyn Chavez (Jett she/her) is a dedicated Masters student at the University of New Mexico, pursuing a degree in Clinical Therapy. With a strong foundation in psychology and family and child studies, Jett is passionate about fostering healthy intimate relationships through her therapeutic work. During her internship at Albuquerque Sex Therapy, Jett is actively developing her therapeutic techniques to create a safe, supportive and sex positive space for clients. Jett accepts private pay at our internship rate and the following insurances: NM Medicaid, Friday Health Plans, Molina Healthcare of NM, Presbyterian Commercial plans, Presbyterian Centennial Care (Medicaid) & BCBS.
